PLENTY GROUP’s popular EASTWOOD cafe is located within Scion Research, adjacent to the Whakarewarewa Forest. Eastwood caters to an eclectic bunch of customers - scientists, mountain bikers, tourists, and local Rotorua east-siders out for their daily walk. Five years since opening, we have morphed into a bustling all-day eatery, offering wood-fired pizzas, an inspiring brunch selection and delicious cabinet food. We also provide daily catering for onsite meetings.

Open 7 days from 8am – 3pm.
And every Friday night for drinks and pizza.
Our beautiful café space is popular for private events in the evenings.

BAKER IN PRODUCTION KITCHEN

These positions are well suited to chefs who enjoy the buzz of a busy kitchen environment, you should be efficient and very organised. Weekends are our busiest time, so we'll need your help on Saturday's and Sunday's. You will need sound knowledge of various cooking techniques. You will be encouraged to have creative input in presenting fresh cabinet food and hotline menu items. We offer a great environment to learn and grow as a chef within a progressive hospitality group. This role is full time (minimum 30 hours per week), remuneration offered will be based on your experience and qualifications.

We're looking for a minimum six month commitment from Working Holiday Visa applicants.
