🍓 Strawberry Pickers & Ice Cream Shop Assistants (Blenheim)

Starting. First week of September 

Tuesday to Sunday

Approx 30 - 40hr weeks variable. Our season ends around end Jan 2027

We’re hiring at our hydroponic strawberry farm and busy real fruit ice cream shop.

Positions available:

Strawberry Pickers – work daily in our glasshouse, starting 7:30am through to the afternoon (hours variable depending on fruit). Plants are on raised gullies and tables, not on the ground. Some packing also available.

Ice Cream Shop Assistants – picking or packing in the mornings, then work afternoons in our shop selling freshly packed strawberries and making real fruit ice creams. This is a fast-paced role requiring excellent customer service, the ability to work under pressure, and to make ice creams consistently and quickly.

Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.

Physically fit – role involves moderate to heavy lifting and picking under hydroponic tables.

Customer-focused and friendly (for ice cream shop). 

Starting rate $25.50 + 8% holiday pay 

Possible accommodation. Definitely space for a self contained van. 

We are a small team. Super popular and busy. A good vibe but it's hard work. Excellent staff perks, if you like strawberries and icecream.
