Cleaner/housekeeper

CLEANER/HOUSEKEEPER -  HANMER SPRINGS - BUSY TOURIST TOWN - NORTH CANTERBURY

Be part of the team servicing and cleaning holiday houses.  This is a full-time, permanent position, approximately 40 hours a week, although if you only wanted part-time, they would consider it. Consideration would also be given to someone who can stay a minimum of 8 months.   There is ONE full-time vacancy.   Work would be any five days out of seven, including weekends.  

You will need to be a New Zealander or resident or hold a valid visa which allows you to work in NZ. 

 YOU WILL REQUIRE A VALID NEW ZEALAND OR INTERNATIONAL DRIVERS' LICENCE as you will be driving the company vehicles. 

  Visa sponsorship is not available.      

While previous cleaning experience is preferred, attitude and a good work ethic is more important, and they would train you. Good attention to detail is also important.  You will be physically fit, work to high standards, be a good team person and have a positive attitude. You will also need to be able to work fast and under pressure when things get busy.   

Assistance is provided to find accommodation which would be a furnished room in a house and sharing communal areas.

The world-renowned Thermal Pools and Spa are central, and the Village has many fantastic bars and restaurants.  It is also the gateway to the great New Zealand outdoors.  Mountain biking, hiking, bungy jumping, walking, fishing, horse trekking and just about every adventure sport New Zealand is famous for are all within easy reach.
