Farm Assistant

We have a farm assistant job available, milking 550 cows through a rotary shed. Daily jobs could be collecting cows from paddocks milking cows, cleaning cowshed, putting up break fences for cows and other day to day dairy farm  chores.

We are currently in the middle of calving cows.

We are looking for someone who has ideally worked with animals before, and milked cows. The farm is located 10 minutes from Inglewood and 30 minutes from New Plymouth.

A 1 bedroom house is available with the position, the position is for 1 person only. Would suit someone with a car as there is no public transport to the farm. Person needs to hold a relevant visa to work in NZ as this is a paid position,  we would like someone who can commit to a few months work.
