Automotive Mechanic Experienced

Looking for an experienced good all-round mechanic for a family-owned one-stop mechanical repair business in North Canterbury.  

You would be providing a wide range of mechanical services, based out of the small rural town of Culverden which services a wide area of North Canterbury.  They are very busy and need an experienced trade qualified mechanic with at least 4 years experience, with strong mechanical and technical knowledge to join the team.

It is a lovely area of New Zealand, and the city of Christchurch is only 97 kms away.  Hanmer Springs, a popular outdoor adventure, thermal pools tourist town is less than 30 minutes away.  The Great New Zealand outdoors is just over the back!  If you prefer a smaller community, the outdoors and getting to know the real New Zealand, you may enjoy this job.

Hours are 40+ a week.  While they prefer someone permanent/long term, they may consider someone on a working holiday visa with the right experience and qualifications.   Good spoken English is necessary and a commitment to stay a minimum of 6 months.
