Looking for your next dairy farming opportunity? Join a progressive West Coast dairy farm and spend the calving season working in one of New Zealand's most scenic regions.


We're seeking an experienced Dairy Farm Assistant to join a supportive team on a 460-cow dairy farm for a 3-6 month position, starting 1st August.


Milking through a modern 50-bail rotary dairy, you'll be involved in all aspects of the day-to-day operation, including milking, stock work, and general farm duties. This is a fantastic opportunity to build your experience while enjoying the unique lifestyle the West Coast has to offer.

Tasks:

  • Milking and shed operations
  • Bringing cows in and moving stock
  • General farm duties
  • Animal health support
  • Feeding out and assisting with day-to-day farm operations
  • Maintaining a clean and tidy dairy shed

Requirements:

  • Previous milking experience is essential
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Good English communication skills
  • Reliable and hardworking
  • Physically fit and able to work early starts
  • Legal right to work in New Zealand (AEWV not available)
