Berry Planting Crew

We are looking for reliable and hardworking Horticulture Workers to join a berry planting team in Waimate, starting Monday 3rd August.

This is a great opportunity to join a modern berry growing operation, planting strawberry and raspberry plants into growing bags inside tunnel houses.

The initial assignment is expected to run for approximately 3 weeks, with the potential for ongoing work for those wanting to stay on, including general labouring work and berry harvesting from October onwards.

About the role:

• Planting strawberry and raspberry plants into growing bags
• Working within tunnel house growing environments
• Handling plants carefully to support quality growth
• General horticultural tasks and site maintenance as required
• Working as part of a supportive and hardworking team

About you:

• Reliable and motivated with a strong work ethic
• Comfortable with physical, hands-on work
• Able to work in a team environment
• Good attention to detail and care when handling plants
• Previous horticulture, agriculture, packing, or labouring experience is an advantage but not essential
