Holiday Park Duty Manager Couple

Spring Creek Holiday Park, located in Marlborough, is looking for a Duty Manager couple to join the team. Recently under new ownership, Spring Creek Holiday Park is an exciting opportunity for the successful applicants to develop within the Holiday Park Industry. 

Key responsibilities of the role:

• Supporting the park managers with day-to-day holiday park operations.
• Working in reception delivering excellent customer service.
• Various holiday park tasks such as housekeeping and grounds.
• Ensuring staff follow park policies and health & safety procedures.
• Leading the holiday park team in the absence of the park managers.
• Ensuing that cleanliness and presentation standards are met in all areas, through both your own efforts and the training and leadership of staff.
• Building relationships with guests, helping provide local information and promptly answering any questions they may have.
• Responding to after-hours issues when rostered on call.

The ideal applicants are:

• Experts in customer service and confident when taking to our guests.
• Professional, honest and reliable.
• Comfortable using booking systems, writing emails and basic computer work.
• Calm under pressure, especially when dealing with customer issues.
• Quick thinking, practical, problem solvers.
• Flexible in their working hours and able to work weekends/evenings.
• Can do attitude and a willingness to learn new things.

Previous experience working in a holiday park or with Newbook would be an advantage but not essential for the right applicants.

What we can offer you:

• 40 hours a week, $58,000 per year. (Per applicant)
• A basic on-site cabin with small kitchenette and access to the holiday parks kitchens and bathrooms for $25 per applicant per week.
• A contract through till Easter 2027, with potential to extend.
