Dairy Farm Assistant

We require someone to assist on our Dairy Farm. It is a very busy time of time of the year with calving happening each day. When the full herd is calved we will be milking 300 cows.  It is a fairly cool climate here in Reporoa, between Rotorua and Taupo, but many beautiful days are experienced.
We are an owner operated farm, love the jobs well done, animals looked after and the machinery too.
Help required consists of assisting with milking the cows and cleaning up the milking shed, maybe feeding the calves, putting up and taking down electric fences and other farm jobs that need attending too. 

If you have a can do attitude, are fit and healthy, love to be busy, you are welcome to apply if you would like to help for the experience of seeing and being part of how a NZ dairy farm operates.

We have a tidy cottage available for accommodation, it will be furnished with basics needed. 

Current Working holiday visa required, your own vehicle (not for work use but we do not live on a bus route)
