Dairy Farm Asistant

Hi All,
 

We are seeking to employ an enthusiastic Couple, in Culverden North Canterbury for a short term role during our busy calving period.

One person will be helping the Dairy team the otrher will be with the calf rearing team.

This positions role is on our 950-cow dairy farm. Milking through a 70 bale rotary shed. Pivot irrigation. 

This position would best suit someone who is available and eligible to work in New Zealand. 

Work will include but not limited to

-Milking

-Fencing

-Tractor work

-Animal health

-Feeding calves

-General maintenance

-Other associated work

You will be working with 4 other staff including the 2IC. With support from Manager

In this position you will be issued with a modern well maintained DR200 farm bike for use on farm.

Culverden is a township only 5 minutes drive from the farm. 

Accomodation available in a 2 Bedroom house on farm to be shared with another couple

Position start is August 1 with work garunteed for the month of August and negotiable after that

Pay range is negotiable based on experience
