Lake Ohau Lodge is an iconic 72 room NZ high country lodge on the shores of Lake Ohau in the Southern Alps, the headwaters of the Waitaki Valley.  The Lodge is unique in its style and we pride ourselves on providing genuine and friendly Kiwi hospitality along with amazing food.  We live in an extraordinary natural  landscape with a large lake, mountains, river valleys and walking trails on our back door step and operate Ohau Snow Fields in winter so if you love the outdoors this position could be for you.

We are looking for an experienced and creative Sous Chef to work alongside our Head Chef.  You are required to assist with all preparation and plating of meals, dishes and end of shift clean up, maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen and storage areas and other tasks as directed by the Head Chef.  You would be Chef in charge on the Head Chef's days off.

This is a permanent position and a great opportunity for somebody wanting to take their career to the next level working in a very creative kitchen while enjoying an outdoors lifestyle.  

Wage rate is negotiable, accommodation and meals are provided at $200 per week.
