Strong Evening Restaurant Servers

EVENING POSITIONS - STRONG RESTAURANT SERVER

Our cozy neighbourhood restaurant will open in time for the 2026 Winter season mid June.  We are looking for bubbly, dynamic servers to join our small team in Lake Hawea.  

Just 15 minutes from Wanaka, Hawea Store & Kitchen is Lake Hawea's 'one stop shop' offering groceries, a busy cafe, and take-aways  to a fast growing community.  Our upstairs Restaurant & Bar will offer a “pub” like dining experience to locals and visitors alike.
 

• We offer a varied roster of evening shifts 30+ hours per week
• Combination of week days and weekends
• Shifts commencing between 2-4pm, until close (10-11pm)
• Must be passionate and experienced with a focus on great customer service, great food and creating atmosphere
• Couple welcome - kitchen work available

Accommodation is not included with this role, however studios and shared accommodation is available in Lake Hawea and often advertised via local Lake Hawea Facebook pages and notice boards.

Foreign applicants require valid Work VISA.  Applicants must be available to work throughout the winter season.
