Cherry/apricot Pickers & Packers

We have positions available for Pickers at our Roxburgh East Orchard.  We are a family owned orchard with a friendly team and good environment.

All Applicants need to be physically fit and motivated.   We may work long hours if required.

We will be picking cherries, apricots and peaches and this will involve some ladder work.   A fear of heights would be a disadvantage.

Full training will be provided.

Work Period:  Start 4th January 2023   Stonefruit harvest will finish in February.  There is opportunity for further work from February until June in an Export Apple Packhouse nearby.

Our orchard is situated in Roxburgh East, 4 ks from Roxburgh township which is halfway between Queenstown and Dunedin on State Highway 8.

Roxburgh is a small picturesque town with a 7 day supermarket, Entertainment Centre, cafes and shops. Roxburgh Gorge and Clutha Gold scenic cycle trails are nearby.

We have a campsite on orchard with good facilities.   Showers/Toilets/Kitchen and lounge area.  Suitable for anyone with a campervan/sleeping van or tent.  There are Backpackers and homestay options available in Roxburgh we can help with.

Preferable to have your own transport.
