The Rotten Apple Backpackers is a working hostel in the heart of Hastings. We help our guests find work in orchards, vineyards and hospitality. At the moment we have an apportunity for backpackers who would like to come and join the Rotten Apple Family. 

Job Description:

Apple Thinning - Start November 

A local orchard are looking for people to start work in the upcoming season. Successful applicants must be physically fit and have a can-do attitude. Previous experience would be an advantage, but is not necessary. You will need to be honest, reliable and hard working and be able to commit to at least 6 weeks of work, with the opportunity to extend later on.

Having your own transport is a must - For those that don't have cars, pop us a message and we will let you know if we have people with empty seats!

To be able to apply for this role you will need the following:

  • A valid Working Holiday Visa/SSE
  • A New Zealand Bank Account
  • An IRD number.
