Putt Master At Wellyputt Mini Golf

WellyPutt Mini Golf is looking for an upbeat Putt-Master megastar! 

This is a casual role that will get you an average of 5-15 hours a week, ideal for someone looking to supplement their income while in Wellington.

Ideally the right candidate will be staying in Wellington for at least 6 months. The longer the better. 

Shifts will be usually weekday evenings (from 4/5pm-8/10pm) and weekends, extra shifts may be available throughout the week during the hours of 10am-10pm (especially during school holidays). There may also be off-site shifts from time to time working on our portable mini-golf hole at various events around the region. 

We also will be looking to train up someone to work on admin and general management over the busy holiday season as well as marketing, so depending on your experience and availability there is the potential for plenty of extra hours! 

Must be able to work solo and be comfortable engaging with clients in an enthusiastic and chatty manner. 

Your responsibilities will include:

• Taking payments 
• Learning the Game Brief and informing teams of the house rules in an upbeat, friendly and engaging way
• Keeping the office tidy, sanitary and in order
• Opening/Closing the office
• Taking bookings, working with booking software and emails
• Basic maintenance to ensure the course is up to standard (repainting/fixing etc)
• Working both solo and with team mates
• Working with groups of all sizes, ages, abilities and occasions (inc. Birthday parties/corporate functions/family outings)

We are Wellington's highest rated mini-golf and set a high standard for customer experience and engagement, the right candidate MUST be willing and able to engage with every client before and after their games in a fun, informative and friendly manner. Previous experience in Tourism or Customer Service preferred but not essential. 

Candidate must have legal right to work and reside in NZ and have an IRD number.
