Dairy Farm Assistant

Location: Methven, Canterbury
Position: Part-time, Dairy Farm Assistant

We are looking for a Dairy Farm Assistant to join our team on a 1,200-cow farm near Methven. To start mid June until January (Permanent work may be possible for right candidate). Roster can be flexible to suit those wanting to travel on days off.

The Role Includes:

• Animal health and stock work
• Winter feeding, shifting, and general farm maintenance
• Helping with seasonal tasks (calving, mating, etc.)
• Milking when season start again 

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous farming experience (essential)
• Good humour and a strong team spirit
• Reliability, positivity, and willingness to learn
• Ability to work rostered shifts, including weekends
