Campground Caretaker

Are you a reliable, hands-on person who loves the outdoors? We are gearing up to open our brand-new campground at the beautiful Kimihia Lake, and we’re looking for a passionate Campground Caretaker to help us keep it pristine, welcoming, and running smoothly.

If you enjoy a varied workday, taking pride in your environment, and being part of an exciting new community venture, this could be the perfect role for you!

• Cleaning & Presentation: Keeping our communal facilities, amenities blocks, and campsites sparkling clean and ready for guests.
• Grounds Maintenance: Light gardening, mowing, weeding, rubbish removal, and ensuring the grounds are safe and tidy.
• Reporting & Safety: Conducting routine walk-throughs, monitoring site conditions, and reporting any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management.

• A proactive "can-do" attitude with an eye for detail.
• Physical fitness suitable for outdoor work and manual tasks.
• Reliable, trustworthy, and able to work independently.
• Excellent communication skills for basic daily reporting.
• Flexibility to work varied hours, including some weekends or public holidays (peak camping times!).
• Previous experience in cleaning, landscaping, or property maintenance is a plus, but a great work ethic is our top priority.
