Chef De Partie

We're a family owned, organic winery in North Canterbury, 45 minutes from central Christchurch.  Our restaurant has been awarded two hats consistently since 2019 by Cuisine Good Food Awards.

Our restaurant is open 5 days a week and for lunch only. We use local, seasonal, organic and foraged produce on our menu.

We are looking for a CDP to work with us from now until atleast April.  If the chef wishes to stay on that is fine but we also offer a fixed term for the busy season until early April. 

We’re looking for someone who -

• wishes to learn from a talented Head Chef, and refine their skills.
• work in a small team to learn in every section.
• can run their own section.
• takes responsibility and has pride in their work.
• wants to connect with local growers and farmers and is interested in foraging.
• appreciates the role of wine with food.
• likes to have fun.  

Day time shifts only, closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays.  We do have very occasional evening events and collaborations.

Good pay offered, car pooling with petrol allowance from Christchurch offered. We can also help with finding a rental in Amberley or Waipara if of interest.
