🧹 Housekeeping Superstar Wanted – Hahei Beach / Cathedral Cove 🌊

Hahei Escapes is looking for a housekeeping superstar to join our team from November 2026 until April 2027!

If you love beautiful surroundings, take pride in a job well done, and don't mind getting your steps in while making holiday homes sparkle, this could be the perfect summer job for you. ☀️

📍 Location: Hahei / Hot Water Beach
📅 Season: November 2026 – 30 April 2027

Private Room: Available in our 4-bedroom staff house only 2 minutes from the beach, $190.00/week 
⏰ Hours: Approximately 20-30+ hours/week across a 4/5-day roster

About 20 hours / week leading up to Christmas over a 4 day roster. This will give you some time to explore the beautiful Coromandel Peninsula.

30+ hours from Christmas until March/April over a 5 day roster.

Hahei Escapes is a local holiday home management business looking after beautiful holiday homes in Hahei and Hot Water Beach.

We take care of our homes as if they were our own and love creating a great experience for our guests from the moment they walk through the door to the moment they leave.

We're a small, friendly team who work hard, help each other out and have a laugh along the way.

✨ What you'll be doing

As a housekeeping assistant, you'll be responsible for getting our holiday homes guest-ready.

This includes:

• Cleaning and preparing holiday homes to a very high standard
• Making beds with fresh linen
• Packing your work vehicle with linen and cleaning supplies
• Independently driving between our holiday homes
• Planning and organising your day
• Making sure every little detail is ready for our next happy guests

It's a hands-on, physical job and you'll generally be on your feet for around 5–6 hours a day so we're looking for someone who enjoys staying active and takes genuine pride in their work.

We're after someone who is:

• Experienced in housekeeping
• Reliable, organised and self-motivated
• A great eye for detail
• Comfortable working independently
• Happy to jump in and help the team when things get busy
• Flexible when last-minute bookings mean plans need to change
• Friendly, positive and genuinely cares about doing a great job

🚗 A couple of must-haves

You must have:

• A full driver's licence
• Your own reliable car (we pay km rates for your work travels!)
• The legal right to work in New Zealand

We have a comfortable room available in a 4-bedroom shared house, just steps from the beach, at a great rate.

So when the workday is done, you can swap your cleaning gear for your swimming, snorkel or surf gear, head down to the beach and enjoy everything beautiful Hahei and surroundings has to offer. 🌴🌊
