Join the team at this busy Cafe in the centre of Hanmer Springs.

Hanmer Springs is a small, busy outdoor adventure tourist town, 130kms from the city of Christchurch in North Canterbury. It is stunningly beautiful and surrounded by hills and mountains. If you enjoy nature, clear air, walking, hiking or just about any outdoor activity, you can do it here. Plenty to do too if you just like to socialise and there is always a lot going on.  The Thermal Pools are a huge attraction too.

Previous experience working in a commercial kitchen, with a minimum of 1-2 years is necessary.   This is a job for one person.

You will be preparing and cooking a range of cafe meals, including pizzas, short-order menu items, cabinet food and baking.   A minimum of 35 hours a week.   It’s any five days out of seven and it is mainly day work.

You must have a good standard of English, be able to multi-task, to work as part of a small team and have flexibility to work rostered shifts, including weekends and public holidays.

This is a long term/permanent position, although consideration would be given to someone who can commit for a minimum of 6-7 months.
